Pay range: $84.00-$90.00/Hour (DOE)
Candidate must know Java, AWS, and knowledge of monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog and nice to have tech like OTSDB, HBase..
Must be independent in most of the work and represent team and guide customers.
Required:
* B.S in Computer Science (M.S. preferred) with a strong understanding of OO design and fundamentals
* 3+ years or more with Java, Spring, distributed systems, microservices, and REST API
* Prior knowledge and experience in running services in Cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure
* Experience with EKS, Kubernetes, Application security, and containers such as Dockers
* Experience with High Performance, Traffic, and Availability Architectures with a target SLA of 99.9% or higher
* Deep knowledge of software engineering practices: unit testing, configuration management, and release management
* Knowledge about monitoring datasets(logs, metrics, events, traces)
* CI/CD Spinnaker, Terraform and Deployment architecture
* Attention to detail, coaching, and mentoring junior members
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with Agile development methodology and Test-Driven Development
* Experience in customer onboarding and support
Preferred:
* Experience in bigdata technologies like Kafka, Presto, HBase, ELK, Spark, Flink, Druid to manage petabytes worth of data at billions of events per min
* Knowledge about Commercial Monitoring offerings like Splunk, Newrelic, Datadog, Sumologic etc..
* Experience of Grafana, TSDB, Tableau, Superset
