I. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for operational integrity, data safety / retention, service level, and quality of information systems. Leads resolution of computer system incidents, as well as executing scheduled upgrades and enhancements. Works in conjunction with other departments to build and deliver technological solutions and enhancements.

II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide support for Standard Windows based server and desktop hardware & software including:

o Microsoft Windows 7/8/10/11; Microsoft Windows Server 2012r2, 2019;
Microsoft Office 365; WordPress; VMWare vSphere;

o Sophos UTM or other firewall management experience; SAN or NAS Hardware

o Datto Backup Appliances; Oracle 10g/19c; Crystal Reports; IQMS Software

• Administer MS Server Network, maintaining users, managing security, making sure backups are adequate
• Build and support integration of manufacturing equipment data and customer systems into Micron Solutions’ MRP and ancillary systems.
• Provides support and guidance throughout all the organizations functional, business or information management systems.
• Support business units by developing and testing of Business Intelligence assets (crystal reports, SQL, IQMS Smartpage.)
• Ensure that license and copyright compliance are adequately maintained
• Maintain customer-facing web presence to reflect organizational objectives and capabilities.
• Maintain accurate user licensing of SAAS applications, ensuring expenditure is proportional to the actual active user base.
• Provide suitable onboarding and continuing support for staff and vendors in their use of Micron Solutions’ supported systems.
• Must adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies
• Must have a basic understanding of quality management systems related to ISO 9001 & ISO 13485
• Provide an appropriate service level for users, security
• Provide solutions and support for users
• Support Operations by providing solutions for Business Intelligence (crystal reports, etc.)
• Work with outside consultants to provide outsource services as needed for Networking,
• Ensure employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations and occupational health hazards Provides leadership in the establishment and maintenance of all operational systems and process controls
• Conduct robust new hire onboarding ensuring training plans are in place, executed and completed successfully for all new hires.

I. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related technical field and 2-5years in IT position.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong IT background and proficiency in the use of servers and networking; Standard skill set to include DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Group Policy Management, File & Printer Sharing, TCP/IP Networking, Backup Procedures, Security Rights Assignments & Firewall Rules.
• ISO 9001 / 13485 management and implementation experience is desired.
• Systems/process thinker with great organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate with different stakeholders at differing levels of authority and influence.
