Icon Computers in Clearwater, Fl. is seeking to add an experienced Computer/Networking Technician to our team. We are an IT Managed Services Company providing technical support for our customers in small to medium business environments.
Required Technical Skills:
Workstation Diagnostics and maintenance
Networking, Domain Hosting DNS manipulation of A, CNAME, TXT, MX, and SRV records
Microsoft 365 Administration including Android/IOS support

Migration of on premise server to 365 cloud services
Managed Services with full service and support to our end users

Remote support and Service Desk ticketing system,

The demand for our services requires us to seek a candidate that is diversely experienced, quick thinking and intuitive to end user needs and support

Communicate technical directions over the phone to inexperienced computer users

Ability to interpret a flow chart to deliver a work process

Ideal candidates should also exhibit professional Skills:

Excellent oral communication
Ease of multitasking and organization in a busy, fast paced environment

Positive desire in learning new technology, developments, and processes

Fine tuning BIOS settings for best performance and security on new builds

Beneficial Skills:Networking
Layer3 Configuration – NAT, Firewall, Teaming, Bridging, VLANs, Traffic Shaping
Wireless – Access Points, Bridges, Wireless Mesh, 2.4Ghz/5Ghz Bands
VPN – OpenVPN, IPSEC, L2TP, PPTP
Cisco Programming Experience
Geovision
Server experience
Database experience (MSSQL, MYSQL)
Hard Drive Data Recovery Knowledge
Network cabling troubleshooting and wiring/crimping of RJ45 and RJ11

• Must be available 8a-5p Monday thru Friday, full time
