We seek a member-focused Junior Applications Engineer (JAE) responsible for supporting the development and implementation of solutions through the Application Lifecycle. The JAE provides functional and technical analysis of core systems and processes to internal stakeholders.
Success in the role requires understanding of the Application/Software Lifecycle and familiarity with data structures, process analysis, and Tier 1 application support. Critical thinking skills, attention to
detail, and effective communication skills are required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Demonstratable skill in any programming language experience acquired through education and/or professional job experience
- Foundational knowledge in application/software development life cycle
- Ability to communicate in both user-accessible and technical language through both oral and written medium
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other related fields
- Knowledge of financial services industry – credit unions or banking
- Must have a vehicle available
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate service windows
- Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computer equipment and peripherals, up to 50 pounds
