Goldbelt, Incorporated is an urban, Alaska Native, for-profit corporation with offices in Juneau, Alaska and Herndon, Virginia. SUMMARY Goldbelt Tram is seeking a Inventory Control Specialist. The Inventory Control Specialist will receive and check all orders arriving from various vendors and distribute products to the correct department. Assist Food & Beverage Manager with month-end in ventory, retail with yearly inventory. Develop and implement SOP for all inventory ordering, receiving, and processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1 year experience in MS Office Suite software and email. Ability to successfully pass background check.

Preferred Qualification:

• Familiarity with tram-wide departmental operations.
• 2 years of customer services experience.
• 2 years of clerical, administrative or data entry work.

WORKING CONDITIONS Constant movement in/out of an aerial tramway and lift operation, cabin up/down an 1800 ft.; constant exposure to extreme heights, and periodic exposure to dangerous equipment during emergency evacuations or power failures. Constant public interaction and communication and must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs., constant bending, lifting, stooping is required to maintain adequate supplies. The Tram is a non-smoking facility with designated outside smoking areas.

Essential Job Functions:

• Devise and implement ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels.
• Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
• Ensure incoming inventory matches the correct quantities, packing list availability, part number accuracy and description against purchase order .
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
• Ensure that all received materials are placed in their proper location immediately upon arrival, inclusive of prioritizing backorder receipts.
• Track shipping schedule and ensure shipments are properly prepared, inclusive of correctness, awareness of any missing materials and packaging for protection. Ensure a safe working environment.
• Minimize inventory loss by incorporating the best supply chain practices.
• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner. Load and unload delivery vehicles Load and wrap stock on pallets/carts. Perform pickups and deliveries as needed for all tram departments.
• Complete a ssembly/disassembly of hardware, furniture, storage racks, etc.
• Assist departmental managers with data entry when available.
