Job Summary:

This position ensures that proper protocols are followed in the Purchasing and Warehouse environments to support the company’s overall services. This key role will coordinate efforts to ensure that roofing materials are available to field technicians as needed and maintain the roofing inventory and warehouse organization along with other functions needed to maintain the company’s daily operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures timely shipment of roofing materials to job sites in coordination with work schedules
• Works closely with Customer Service and Field departments to ensure that all roofing materials are available as needed
• Monitors pricing including vendor price increases and informs leadership team as needed
• Some negotiation of prices to make sure the company is receiving roofing materials at the lowest cost possible
• Updates roofing inventory spreadsheets and verifies the accuracy of orders
• Verifies receipt of items ordered, investigates shortages, mis-ships, and canceled orders
• Orders and maintains proper roofing inventory levels in the warehouse
• Maintains warehouse organized and accounts for all roofing materials
• Distributes roofing materials daily to Field team members and tracks roofing supplies closely
• Coordinates the return of roofing materials that are not used by the Field team
• Tracks, registers, and processes Warranties for purchased roofing materials
• Works with limited supervision while performing multiple tasks with close attention to detail
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Pulling of City, County and State permits
• Creating change order proposals
• Works closely with CEO and Superintendent on miscellaneous task
• Delivers roofing materials to assigned jobsites as scheduled
• Reviews monthly spending with field employees
• Must have reliable transportation

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Foundational knowledge of Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, and thorough with attention to detail.
• Ability to resolve vendor and client issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
• Excellent driving record, Experience with driving large transportation vehicles.
• General knowledge of roofing materials and installation.
• Proficient math skills to ensure deliveries are accurate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years´ experience in Warehouse and Purchasing preferred
• Current Forklift certification

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, lift, push, pull and crouch for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
