  • This position is based in El Paso, TX
The Inventory Control Accountant proactively implements better, scalable processes for tracking inventory for Drybar, all while handling the day-to-day accounting responsibilities for inventory management and reconciliation
What you will be doing:
  • Full ownership of all inventory in Drybar 3PL and CM’s including preparation of monthly inventory reconciliations
  • Prepare inventory adjustments including documentation of approval and Cost Accounting coding approval
  • Collaborate with internal departments and outside parties to ensure inventory transactions are recorded and produced timely and accurately
  • Monthly Internal close including Quarterly analysis
  • Prepare inventory reserve schedules
  • Prepare inventory fluctuation analysis and sales trend analysis to determine inventory reserve
  • Strategize and collaborate with Controller and Drybar Sales team on opportunities to sell excess inventory
  • Contribute to the success of Drybar by participating in special projects and critical initiatives
  • Projects stay on track and are measured against scorecard metrics
  • Prepare and collaborate with 3PL on the annual physical inventory
  • Coordinate and work with external auditors regarding observation of physical inventory and 3PL to resolve issues and make appropriate corrections to systems and reporting
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities and attention to detail.
  • Requires a highly organized, strong analytical problem solver, with organizational and presentational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a relevant field: accounting, business administration, economics, finance
  • Experience in Inventory Accounting
  • Intermediate to advanced abilities with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
