Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ITS Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will get to work with clients to plan and define ITS program goals. We have some excellent projects in Tennessee and Florida!

Our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) group provides comprehensive solutions to the most complex transportation and traffic congestion use cases. From freeways to toll roads to transit routes, we deliver adaptive systems for every need, optimizing any transportation network. We are looking for a strong ITS Leader, to help deliver industry-leading transportation management solutions. We are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers, and technology-focused professionals to add to our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. You will be expected to plan and define program goals and develop methods to accomplish them.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design, development, deployment, and management of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This may include:

  • ITS Infrastructure
  • ITS Software
  • ITS Communication Networks
  • Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) systems
  • Active Transportation and Demand Management (ATDM) Systems
  • Tolling/ITS Solutions
  • Transportation Management Centers
  • Connected and Autonomous Vehicles

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Perform regional ITS business development in a doer/seller model
  • Prepare correspondence, written reports, presentations, for the Government and in briefing tenants and senior personnel.
  • Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Market and secure additional work with client.
  • Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering related technical/business field
  • 12+ years of experience in the ITS field performing similar functions as described above in both ITS project execution and proposal/BD functions
  • Professional registration may also be required.
  • Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and typically 12+ years of related work experience is required. The incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background. Professional registration may also be required.
