Medical Colleagues of Texas is a privately owned and operated multi-specialty clinic that has served the Katy community for over 35 years.
We are looking for a friendly, hard-working teammate to work as an insurance verification specialist for our primary care and specialty physicians. A good fit will be a forward thinking and self-motivated that works well with others.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Verifies all insurance coverage for upcoming patient appointments
- Determines patient's responsibility if applicable electronically and/or by phone
- Enters all insurance information clearly and accurately into medical billing system
- Obtains referral and or authorization prior to scheduled appointment
- Advises patient of their responsibility prior to scheduled appointments
