Insurance Claims Specialist

M-F/Full Time/On Site

Salary: $19-20/hr

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN INSURANCE CLAIMS SPECIALIST:

• Contact insurance company to gather information on claim (totaled vs repairable)

• Communicate with repair shops regarding pictures of repairs and invoices

• Reach out to customer to advise of claims process

• Communicate with Accounting regarding repairable claims checks (When and where to send them)

• Evaluate account and advise if Power of Attorney is needed to move forward with insurance claim

• Contact insurance to acquire Letter of Guarantee, Valuation Report, Settlement Breakdown (If total loss)

• Review CCC One valuation received from insurance, compare insurance settlement amount on Settlement Breakdown and Letter of Guarantee, NADA Clean Loan and Clean Retail KBB

• Review and sign Letter of Guarantee

• Prepare and send balance demand notice after total loss/GAP proceeds applied

• Build and submit GAP packet to insurance companies

• Follow all SOPs and Policies

• Attendance

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required

• Higher education preferred, but not required

• Experience in Insurance Claims is a huge plus

• Computer literacy skills

• Must be highly organized

• Time management skills is a must

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Critical thinking, quick learning, problem solving are all important skills for this position

• Willing to make the occasional phone call
