ProFast is a second-generation, family-owned Company that has been supplying the Commercial Construction industry for over 35 years. We are fanatical about customer service, always doing right by our people, our customers, and our vendor partners. We do what our competitors won't to get the job done. We currently have three branches throughout PA, but we serve the entire Mid-Atlantic and are implementing a strong growth plan to expand our footprint.
We are seeking a strong inside salesperson for our Harrisburg, PA branch. The successful candidate will become a key piece at our oldest, most established branch.
The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a multi-tasking environment. You must be comfortable making and receiving dozens of calls & emails per day, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Receive, source, and enter quote and order requests
- Follow-up on quotes, orders, and purchase orders
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
- Identify customers' buying trends and provide information to Outside Sales and Management
- Able to handle walk-in customers and field their requests/needs
- Help assist with branch operations, as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial roofing, general construction material (i.e. fasteners, power tools, safety equipment, etc.), or mechanical systems
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 - 3 years of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
