Description: Operates the Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Flowmaster-6 pocket, and/or other intelligent inserter equipment on the production floor, during the assigned time frames, to the quality standards established by the Production Supervisor. • Job set up
• Equipment operation that inserts printed matter, primarily direct mail
• Follow job orders and special instructions
• Oversee output and adjust as necessary
• Mail sorting and traying as needed
• Completion of production paperwork
• Quality Control steps completed accurately
• Maintenance of a clean work area, as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the production supervisor
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed to get the job done

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year experience operating mail inserting equipment.
• Experience operating Pitney Bowes Flowmaster, Epic and/or Bell & Howell a huge plus
• Great knowledge in standard job setups and operating features of the inserter equipment
• Solid Math skills
• Solid written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to identify inadequate machine operation and make basic adjustments.
• Ability to read and understand Zip reports
• Ability to sort and tray mail
• Strong mechanical skills required
• Comfortable working within a team environment

Education:

• High School degree or equivalent trade school training

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hours
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Intermittent bending up to 3 hours.
