TS Tech is a global supplier of automobile seat & interior trim, with operations in 14 countries. Our production is expanding & requires team players to join our TS Tech family at our Canal Winchester location (TS Trim Industries). TS Trim manufactures the door liners & switch panels for the Honda Accord, Acura, Civic & CR-V.

There is an immediate opening for the position of Injection Mold Tech (2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm) paying $21-$25/hour depending on skill and experience in addition to a $.30 shift differential.

Position Summary: Troubleshoot injection molding process problems including auxiliary and support equipment, performing or assisting with mold changes and machine set-up, focuses on process improvements and the reduction of scrap material

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 2 years’ experience in plastics or 2-year degree in lieu of experience

· Possess a working knowledge of molding thermoplastics and injection machine processing

· Hands-on troubleshooting experience

· Mechanically inclined

· Ability to adapt and be flexible

· Possess a working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Primary Position Responsibilities:

· Complete Mold Changes including check sheets for every tool change

· Make minor tooling repairs as directed by Engineering

· Troubleshoot takeout fails and EOAT electrical issues

· Complete EOAT PM’s for injection tools

· Work through all injection issues, support quality, make process improvements & scrap reduction

· Troubleshoot machine/equipment, tooling and processing issues

· Complete first off/last off inspection of parts at mold changes

· Mold storage: keep mold surfaces clean, keep storage area neat and organized

· Master Batch Daily Operation(s) – Pigment loading (Staging/Confirming pigment levels, ensure proper operation of equipment, troubleshooting issues relative to Master Batch process i.e. color control

· Master Batch equipment PM’

· Perform changing table PM’s

· Ice blasting of injection tools

· Support Customer quality concerns (processing quality issues, etc.)
