Masis Staffing Solutions is searching for a SUPERVISOR/OVERNIGHTS

MUST HAVE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF MOLD INJECTION PROCESS

The Injection Molding Supervisor will maintain and run all production and process aspects involving the Mold Department and its personnel and to perform all duties and responsibilities listed below to uphold maximum production, quality, and safety.

· Supervisor to manage the production scheduling for all three shifts to ensure production schedule is maintained in an efficient and timely manner.

· Supervisor will oversee and evaluate the performance of all Mold Department personnel, including compliance with company policies.

· Will make sure all scheduled set ups are complete with program, material, gauging and tooling prior to distribution for set-up. Will notify department manager of any tooling needed and make recommendations for optimal machining and production rates.

· Supervisor to ensure that all personnel in the molding area are following procedures of safety and all mold equipment is operating in a safe manner.

· Will oversee all in-process quality, making sure technicians and operators are properly trained and following documented procedures to ensure quality is maintained throughout production. Supervisor to take the lead in evaluating and accepting new molds and coordinate the final process documentation.

· As required, perform special projects designed to improve the performance of the department may be assigned. These projects may include additional cost savings ideas, cycle time reduction, tool testing and various R&D projects.

· As the department grows, continually work with the business unit manager to improve technician and operator skills through internal and/or external resources.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years injection molding experience and two years supervisory experience.

· Ability to setup, debug, and process injection molds

· Familiarity with engineering plastics, in particular PC, ABS, PBT, PMMA, POM

· Working knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and procedures

· Blueprint interpretation, understanding of tolerance specifications and relation to SPC.

· Must be highly organized and be familiar with a fast paced, high volume-manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to handle multiple priorities are a necessity

· US citizenship or permanent work authorization required
