Injection Molding Machine Operator - 12 hour nights ($3.00 shift differential)

As a result of continued growth, Bericap SC, LLC has a full-time, hourly opening for a Night Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The key responsibilities for the Injection Operator are as follows:

· Troubleshooting of process and accessory equipment

· Preventative maintenance of molds as prescribed

· Changeover of machines for different products

· Issuing work orders for machine, molds, and safety issues

· Ensures that all work undertaken is carried out safely and without injury

· Responding to machine alarms

· Ensures that all food safety issues are reported to the appropriate manager or supervisor

· Ensures machines are running as per production schedule

· Documentation of quality checks at set intervals

· Initiate corrective action for non-conformances

· Documentation of production paperwork

· Documentation of process adjustments

· Packaging and tagging of product

· Daily and weekly sanitizing of machines and molds

· Dispose of scrap into proper containers

· Housekeeping duties performed throughout shift

· Good manufacturing practices are followed at all times

· Duties as assigned per production supervisor

· Document machine issues

· Lines set up and verified per requirements

· Documentation of master cleaning schedules

Education

High school diploma is preferred

Paulson training preferred

Experience

Injection Molding process knowledge REQUIRED

3 – 5 years injection molding manufacturing experience preferred

Experience with Husky and/or Netstal machines preferred

Experience in plastics manufacturing running multiple machines at once preferred

Skills

Good mathematical skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office programs

Ability to lift 35 pounds
