Fishkill Home Care, a premier home health care agency serving the residents of Dutchess County, is seeking to hire an energetic and talented Infusion Nurse. In this role, you will provide a broad range of clinical IV infusion therapies to our patients to allow them to recover in the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities:

• Skillfully providing one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.

• Assessing the patient’s condition and response to therapy, taking action as needed to facilitate achievement of treatment goals.

• Skillfully providing one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.

• Establishing trust and building therapeutically effective relationships with our clients and their families.

• Compassionately taking care of patients in order to allow them to recover in the comfort of their own home by using your clinical IV capabilities and personal touch.

• Skillfully providing one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.

• Assessing the patient’s condition and response to therapy, taking action as needed to facilitate achievement of treatment goals.

Required Qualifications:

• NY RN license required with a minimum of one year home infusion experience
• Midline insertion certification a plus
• Accept cases with flexibility (morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Full COVID-19 vaccination and/or proof of weekly negative testing
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Must be organized, responsible and dependable
