The opportunity

The Infrastructure Technical Analyst GBO Workload Automation job scheduler administrator role is responsible for implementing job scheduling solutions for our business units. The Administrator will be developing/implementing/evolving best practices for delivery of Workload Automation Solutions.


Tools & Responsibilities

  • AIX, Unix, Windows

  • Oracle, SQL

  • Perform monthly releases.

  • Patching of Workload Automation Solutions

  • Changes to application settings

  • Starting and stopping of application services

  • Creating of system calendar(s)

  • Security Creation/Deletion of User IDs

  • Installs of agents on all servers in environment

  • System patches

  • System upgrades

  • Create Ad-hoc Workload Automation reports.

  • Creation of events

  • Creation of xmls

  • Monthly reporting

  • Housekeeping duties

  • Auditing requirements

  • Desktop client upgrades

  • Understanding of web services and APIs

The Infrastructure Technical Analyst will be responsible for the Global Job Scheduler. Reporting to the Director, ETS-GBO. The position of Infrastructure Technical Analyst impacts the organization by being an admin of a tool that is critical to batch and financial files being updated on a 24 x 7

What we are looking for

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical

  • Linux/Unix and windows operating system experience

  • Workload Automation Scheduling experience is required

  • Ability to solicit Workload Automation options to end users

  • Strong problem determination skills.

  • Basic knowledge of documentation tools, such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point.

  • Ability to work with management and users from all levels of knowledge and expertise.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Working knowledge of all flavors of Unix & Windows. TSO/Mainframe Experience is a plus.

  • Experience in batch operations environments.

  • Team player with strong communication skills.

  • Consulting with and supporting capacity planning efforts for upgrades

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of USA, Massachusetts - Full Time Remote is expected to be between $66,675.00 USD - $111,125.00 USD.

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
