Incident Handling Senior Advisor – Cybersecurity Incident Handling Team: Global Threat Management/Incident Handling (Information Protection Senior Advisor)

Our Cybersecurity Incident Handling Team supports the CIP Global Threat Management organization in providing rapid response and end-to-end management of escalated cybersecurity incidents impacting our organization.

Our Information Protection is seeking an experienced professional to join its dedicated Cybersecurity Incident Handling team. The Incident Handling Senior Advisor plays an integral part in responding to and managing cybersecurity Incidents, along with utilization / maintenance of supporting playbooks and scripts. Additionally, the Senior Advisor is responsible for scheduling / leading cybersecurity-related tabletop exercises. The Senior Advisor will also perform other tasks as assigned in support of team goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Incident Handling:
Gather facts about the emerging incident.

Identify Subject Matter Experts needed to support incident response.

Schedule initial and recurring incident response meetings.

Document meeting discussions and key points.

Track status of the action items required to resolve the issue.

Document the incident details in the Archer GRC program.

Draft, maintain and distribute incident information to meeting participants and select leadership.

Support reporting, leadership and audit inquiries related to incidents.

Ensure timely and correct closure of incident records in the Archer GRC program.

Partner with organization and other teams such as Privacy Office and Legal as needed for incident management.

Incident Preparedness:
As assigned: create, support, and maintain playbooks, scripts and other documentation needed for incident handling and response.

Tabletop Exercise Program:
As assigned, schedule and lead tabletop exercises with various other departments, business areas and teams.

Create, support, and maintain presentations, information and decks used for tabletop exercises.

Document exercise-related details in the team’s SharePoint repository.

Support reporting, leadership and audit inquiries related to tabletop exercises.

Metrics and Reporting:
Support team metrics and reporting needs as assigned.

Maintain Archer GRC incident records to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Audit and Audit Response:
When appropriate and as assigned, participate in or support audit inquiries as relates to incident management.

Maintain Archer GRC incident records according to standards to ensure positive audit results.

Internal Customer Care:
Ensure continued support for concierge and incident response services to address unique or problematic situations for specialty and high visibility interactions with other teams.

Help ensure that senior leadership requests to the team are responded to in a timely, quality and professional manner.

Requirements:
General:
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player.

Experience with and confidence in interacting with leadership-level persons.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong meeting facilitation skills.

Comfortable facilitating meetings and documenting details in ambiguous scenarios involving cross-functional internal teams and external (matrix) partners.

Have a ‘can do’ positive attitude and comfortable in high pressure, high tempo situations.

Experience in mediation for high-stress issues and conversations.

Demonstrated integrity with ability to maintain information confidentiality.

Experience in incident response or crisis resolution is helpful. E.g. BCP, DR, IT, SIM or Cybersecurity and Crisis Management.

Exceptional keyboarding skills.

Documentation and record-keeping skills.

Demonstrated experience in crafting status reports or communications, which includes ability to ‘translate’ complex technical concepts into business- and executive-friendly language.

Project management or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of core cybersecurity principles and framework.

Prior experience with a variety of technologies and business models.

Availability to work a flexible schedule as may be needed to support incident response – which could potentially include nights and weekends.

Ability to adapt to varying workloads, which could be light one day and heavy the next.

Technical:
3+ years of experience in MS Office tools including Word and Excel.

1+ years of experience with collaboration tools; especially SharePoint.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 108,500 - 180,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
