We are looking for an Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to join our team of Professionals at our headquarters in North Wales, PA. Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversight and delivery of multiple Industrial Hygiene projects at customer sites
  • Developing sampling plans and performing sampling for various chemical, physical and biological agents, including: chemical contaminants, noise, mold, indoor air quality (IAQ) parameters, asbestos, lead and hazardous materials
  • Development of chemical exposure, respiratory protection and hearing conservation programs and training
  • Preparation and review of professional reports of findings and recommendations
  • Mold and moisture assessments to determine causes and corrective actions
  • Asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and sampling
  • Asbestos, lead and mold air monitoring and project oversight during abatement projects
  • Safety support at various customer sites, including safety inspections, safety program development/review and training
  • Direct interface with existing and prospective customers, including preparing scopes of work and proposals

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Flexibility and comfort working independently under tight deadlines with changing priorities
  • Ability to travel both locally and regionally
  • Effective organizational skills and a focus on details
  • Desire to achieve applicable professional credentials (e.g., CIH/CSP/CHMM) and to progress into a management role
  • Ability to prepare documents using Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Skills:

  • PA Department of Labor & Industry (PADOLI) and City of Philadelphia Asbestos

Inspector

  • · NIOSH 582 Equivalency Training in Asbestos Air Sampling & Analysis
  • OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER Training
  • Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations
  • ·Ability to develop and present training on OSHA-related safety topics
