TWB Company is seeking an Industrial Electrician who has working knowledge and skills to perform necessary electrical maintenance processes. This professional applies experience and skills to complete assigned work to keep our manufacturing equipment and overall facility operating optimally. They are expected to follow standard operating procedures to accomplish team objectives efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical problems, identify opportunities for improvement, learn new concepts and equipment quickly, and communicate effectively and positively with team members and associates.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 1st shift 8 hour schedule, overtime after 40 hours, double time after 48 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform typical preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned;
• Successfully troubleshoot and repair machinery issues;
• Maintain a clean and safe work area;
• Troubleshoot PLCs, understand and use ladder logic to do so;
• Troubleshoot / wire Intermediate relay logic, AC/DC motor drives;
• Read electrical schematics and comprehend prints;
• Provide mentoring and on the job training to lower level technicians;
• Capable of safely handling 13.2KV switchgear per training received;
• Other maintenance duties as assigned.

Critical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures in the plant;
• Adherence to goals and safety metrics;
• Communicates moderately complex technical information within the team;
• Moderate email and electronic document abilities;
• Intermediate math and measuring skills;
• Ability to use all maintenance tools with little to no guidance;
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic hardware;
• High school diploma or GED.
