International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Program

Goodwill of Colorado and the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) have partnered together to offer Denver Metro residents pre-apprenticeship training in Facilities Management.

“Facility Managers” are in strong demand, with projected job growth of 19% over the next 10 years. Facility Management careers span virtually all industries including office buildings, hospitals, entertainment venues, government facilities, hotels, airports, and more.

What you will get:

· An opportunity to impact sustainability and work with clean energy

· Attend classes with real-world experts in IFMA for 26 weeks.

· Placement assistance for up to 2 years after graduation.

· $15/hour for the length of the program. Classes on Monday & Wednesday from 5-6:30 plus 10 hours of “soft skills” training.

· Training consists of:

· Essentials of Facility Management

· Osha-10 General

· Essentials of Sustainable Facility Management

Denver is home to tens of thousands of commercial SELECTED buildings. Each one needs management – from PARTICIPANTS operations and maintenance to business and WILL RECEIVE: finance to tenant services and sustainability.

• An opportunity to impact: This apprenticeship is for those interested in managing commercial buildings: Facilities Management. We are paying you to train in this new career field: $15/hour. The classes are held on Mondays and Wednesday’s for 26 weeks at our federal location. Our grant requirement is that you live in Denver Metro.

*Goodwill is prepared to offer the Facilities Management training in various sustainability and work environments and will adjust to public health protocols as necessary. with clean energy
