The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) currently has an unclassified Human Services Assistant position open in the Prevention and Protection Services Unit. This position is located in the Junction City DCF Service Center and will earn $12.35/hr.

As a Human Services Assistant, you will:

• Provide program support for PPS programs by assisting professional staff in the coordination of services to facilitate the achievement of individual case assignments to professional staff.
• Assists social work staff by assigning cases to individual social workers and accessing mainframe systems. Gather and disseminate information for staff as well as gather necessary program information to be forwarded to DCF providers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications that may be used to screen applicants:

• Reception experience in a professional setting
• Ability to support staff with good communication skills, precise language skills, accurate grammar skills, and developed tracking methods.
