Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Recruit for various positions for a manufacturing company
- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- High-level manufacturing knowledge preferred
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task and schedule efficiently
- High energy and passion
- Willingness to learn with a commitment to continual improvement and a desire for career advancement
- Bi-lingual a plus
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating and updating job descriptions
- Manage postings on social media and professional platforms
- Screen incoming resumes and application forms
- Conduct phone interviews of applicants
- Update and email interview tracker to the leadership team on a weekly basis
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach, and (host in-house recruitment events when applicable)
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Manage onboarding documents for all new hires
- Complete I-9 verification for all new hires
- Following up on interview status with managers
- Monthly travel for job fairs out of state
- Research and visit schools monthly to recruit
Other Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business related field or equivalent work experience a plus
· HR certifications are a plus
Experience (years and topics):
· 2 years of high volume recruiting experience in a manufacturing company
· Proficiency with recruiting administration including candidate documents
· Extensive knowledge of search strings, applicable websites, and recruiting platforms.
· Self-motivated and self-directed to achieve expectations set by others.
· Proficiency in negotiating.
· Organized to keep up with work, information, respond to inquiries, and others can find what they need in your workstation.
· Capable to work under pressure on a regular basis.
· Strong ability to problem solve and judge situations
Technology/Software (years):
· Excellent computer skills particularly with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
· Exhibited knowledge of and experience with recruiting platforms and sites
Communication:
· Outstanding written, oral, interpersonal, and outward behavior communication ability.
· Proficiency in listening well.
· Demonstrated talent for understanding your audience and how to communicate your message effectively to them.
· Comfortable in uncomfortable situations such as negotiation, unfavorable outcome of effort discussion, urgent and alarmist work volume, and other generally heightened situations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
