The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer compensation, reimbursement, and benefit plans
  • Run payroll biweekly
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Manage staff credentials and licenses
  • Coordinate credentialing new employees with insurance companies as needed via the credentialing department
  • Maintain employee management software
  • Manage the exiting/transition process for all employees
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • PHR or SHRM certification
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of Google Suite
  • Familiarity with HR based technologies
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Bonus- experience working with a small, growing business and general administrative experience

Pay Range: $22+ an hour

Job Type: Full-time
