The HR Generalist is responsible for the daily functions of the HR Department, including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, employee retention, disciplinary action, leave, and enforcing and maintaining company policies and procedures.

Job Duties:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Implements new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries.
  • Promotes employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Administers employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Assists with compensation and payroll administration, such as processing payroll and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Oversees the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
  • Assists with scheduling and coordination of Interns and Students schedules while working closely with their school coordinators.
  • Assists with credentialing of new Providers as well as maintaining records and licenses of current providers.
  • Completes weekly Key Point Indicators and presents metrics in a weekly leadership meeting.
  • May be asked to attend job fairs and other recruiting events to attract future candidates.
  • Ability to travel to different locations depending on the needs of the practice.
  • Other projects or items that may be designated as necessary that are not included on this list.

Job qualifications:

  • Must be a people person who enjoys making connections with others.
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology is a plus.
  • Well-versed in specialized HR concepts, principles, and tactics.
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others of all levels as well as patients.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Experience in Human Resource Management preferred but not required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus.

Pay: $50,000-$70,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
