FOUNDERS

Summit Wealth Systems was launched by Reed Colley and Anthony Sperling. Both are wealth management system industry veterans who align in a commitment to make a significantly positive impact on Wealth Management and their desire to build a company they are proud of. Reed founded Black Diamond Performance Reporting in 2003, and remained with the company until it was sold to Advent in 2011. Anthony joined Advent in 1993 and had been an executive and General Manager overseeing the global wealth and asset management business.

HR ENTHUSIAST PROFILE

This ideal candidate will be actively involved with Summit’s leadership team to help navigate Summit’s Human Resource initiatives. This person will play a critical part in driving policies and human strategies that lead with Summit’s voice and foster our collective values. The ideal candidate will partner with our PEO to formalize HR policies and act as the liaison to help team members. This candidate will be passionate about building new offerings and programs and find joy in managing the communication, rollout, and execution of new HR initiatives for a startup company. Our future HR Enthusiast will find energy from helping others and enjoy working closely with colleagues. Our ideal candidate will enjoy meeting new people and drive our recruiting and onboarding processes. This candidate has interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, working with management and co-workers, and is motivated and proactive. Summit is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic HR professional who likes to have (and create) fun.

This candidate will embody Summit’s values and abundance mindset. This role will continue to evolve, a successful candidate will understand the vision and mission and be fluid with change as it relates to company growth and success.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

· Partner with our PEO to update HR policies, aligning to our voice, mission and values for our team

o Examples: benefits and open enrollment, manage employee handbook and associated policies

· Communicate changes in policies and new programs to the Summit Team

· Lead new employee onboarding and orientation programs

· Recruiting! Help to share Summit’s journey with new talent through various outlets. Serve as a screening for applicants and manage our talent pipeline

· Help with documenting and creating new job descriptions for open requisitions

· Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR management

· Drive team recognition and praise initiatives

· Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and excellence

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· 5+ years of experience in Human Resources

· High Level knowledge of HR policies and importance of programs and offerings

· Strong recruiting skills with experience in ramping up teams quickly

· A strong desire to work across the company, partner with colleagues to “get things done”

· Experience in innovation and execution of new programs and thinks outside the box when appropriate

· Growth mentality; design for the present as well as for the future of the company

· Comfortable being human and supporting others in their own unique journey

· Ability to move fast with a focus to maintaining the organization’s integrity and

· Opportunistic Mindset
