Full time Home Sleep Testing Process and Logistics Coordinator
Pay starts at $20/hour
MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Home Sleep Testing Process and Logistics Coordinator, to work in Logistics area in a healthcare setting in the Concord, NC area. The position will work 5 days a week.
MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.
The position is responsible for communication with patients regarding scheduling shipment of Home Sleep Test devices, receipt of devices, review of instructions, shipping questions, etc. The HST PSR I receives and processes electronic HST consent forms in a lab management system, and performs delinquent device calls to patients then works through the delinquent process via emails and letters, and if necessary initiates the collections process. Secondary supportive duties include responsibilities for inbound and outbound shipping logistics, and device inventory management for home sleep testing department. Secondary duties also include performing all inventory tracking, shipping and packaging, workflow notation, and cleaning and replenishment of devices. Processing and uploading sleep study data in multiple sleep manufacturer softwares and data entry in lab management system are included as well.

Primary and Secondary Responsibilities will include:*

  • Answer telephone promptly and professionally; document calls appropriately and effectively
  • Inventory management and tracking in system
  • Prepare task updates and report inquiries as requested by supervisor
  • Report all failed studies in lab management system and follow process workflows as documented
  • Handle all confidential patient information according to HIPAA procedures
  • Proficient use of and data entry into lab management system.
  • Perform delinquent HST device phone calls
  • Send out delinquent letters and initiate collections for overdue delinquent patients
  • Perform with patient shipment scheduling calls for device deployment
  • Perform with patient phone calls to confirm delivery and receipt of HST device
  • Posts all communication and actions in lab management system in order to maintain accurate patient records
  • Multiple manufacturer sleep software mastery
  • Home Sleep Testing (HST) device configuration with the patient demographic information
  • Check-out of devices and noting accurate data in the patient management system
  • Preparation of outbound shipment to patient to include: accurate device and program instructions, questionnaires, patient packet, return shipping label, supplies, etc.
  • Generate shipping labels in system and prepare return label for patient to utilize and submit back to central
  • Ensure all shipment details, tracking, vendor, etc. are noted in the system promptly and accurately
  • Checking in received devices and note in lab management system
  • Convert and upload data to be reviewed by clinical staff and physicians
  • Attach supportive documentation in lab management system included in return shipment with device
  • Follow standard cleaning and device replenishment protocols as set forth by the company
  • Complete check in checklist and submit devices back in to inventory
  • Monitor supplies and inventory to determine if additional items need to be purchased
  • Ordering department supplies through company web portal as needed to have all necessary supplies for shipments
  • Ship all devices same-day if requested prior to 3:00 p.m. EST

Job Requirements:

  • In-service completion as assigned
  • High school graduate and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong soft skills
  • Standing, walking, and sitting, talking and hearing
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Use of hands to operate office equipment
  • Regular lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
