Human Resource Manager

We are seeking a leader in HR to serve in the role as an experienced Human Resource Manager to champion and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly concerning current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Serves as liaison to staff and leadership when sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with leadership to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Develop and implement appropriate onboarding and exit interview process for each department where necessary
  • Responsible for employee benefits, managing and streamlining the re-enrollment process and new hire enrollment.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Administers company-wide human resources policies in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Responsible for all state and federal reporting requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of human resource experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to champion new ideas, manage change, and execute action plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels, backgrounds, and demographics
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with ADP WFN, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or related software.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year; pay will commensurate experience
