Responsibilities:
At our company, the HRBP consults with employees and managers to address root causes of constraints and works actively to resolve using a systematic approach. Responsiveness and follow-through is key.

We are part of a larger organization with company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation & salary analysis, benefits – health & wellness, workforce planning, DEI, and talent platforms) which the HRBP actively participates in and drives to closure.

Critical to this model is the ability to support senior management in implementing solutions by providing insightful, objective, well-informed perspective. Being assertive without being antagonistic is a strength.

Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. The successful HRBP will be a visible business champion and change agent at Woburn.
Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in similar field
  • Minimum 2 years’ generalist experience in all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations and talent management

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years' experience
  • Demonstrated experience must include consulting with and advising business leaders
  • Master's Degree in related field of study and minimum 1 - 3 years' generalist experience
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology, or aerospace and defense. Prior work in a government contracting environment strongly preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, with strong focus on change / transformation
  • Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint and HR systems (Oracle is a plus)
  • Persuasive communication skills, in both written and oral presentations. Relatable to all levels of employees
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments with strong customer orientation
