Position Summary
The HR Assistant works with the HR Manager to perform various HR-related duties on a professional level in support of department-specific strategies and the organization's overall mission. This position is based in our Tarpon Springs, FL office and is open to candidates with full-time or part-time availability.
Job Specifications
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
- Provide administrative and recruiting support to the HR department. This includes posting jobs, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens and scheduling interviews.
- Assist with the onboarding process to include preparing new hire packets and processing drug screens, background checks and I-9 verifications.
- Use HR and CRM databases to review, input and keep track of employee information and certifications.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Help with the planning and coordinating of employee social events.
- Assist with enrolling employees in training classes and planning quarterly lunch and learns.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal team members, consultants and clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of HR-related experience.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience working with ADP and Cosential is a plus.
