Housekeeper

Kansas City Orthopeadic Institute is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned, 21 Preop/PACU bay, 17 Inpatient Unit beds with 8 state of the art surgical suites. We have been serving the Kansas City area for over 20 years. Our hospital housekeeping offers work life balance with a 32 hour per week, daytime shifts with rotating days and weekends off. We offer a generous PTO package, weekend pay differential of $2.00/hour. This position will clean inpatient unit and assist with the operating rooms.

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper that has experience working in a hospital setting.

Job Function:

Housekeepers perform specialized cleaning duties with the intent of demonstrating high level of understanding for infection prevention and control to clean in sterile environments including patient areas, operating room following procedures, locker rooms, breakrooms and other areas as needed. Housekeepers ensure areas are stocked including but not limited to patient rooms, OR, looker room, and PPE stations.

Requirements:

Experience: 1-5years relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leawood, KS 66211: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hospital housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
