Job description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic team player to fill our hotel management position. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Manage all group and contracted reservations
- Negotiate contract terms and rates with potential clients
- Manage direct bill accounts
- Scheduling and managing staff
- Assist front desk as needed
- Cover shifts as needed
- Create and manage reservations
- Complete monthly sales reports related to group revenue and event availability
- Communicate with the team about important group information
- Work closely with general manager to brainstorm and strategize promotional offers and effective procedures
- Interact with guests via Facebook, face-to-face, email, and on the phone
Skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with hotel reservations software, like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Degree in hotel management is a plus
