Hotel General Manager - Home2 Suites

Ideally seeking someone who can fill this position that has experience as a General Manager at a Hilton affiliated property, is familiar with OnQ and R&I, has Hilton General Manager certifications, and can take on the responsibility of managing a 106-room, limited service property with about 25 employees and being present at any time necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the business.

We are open to hiring candidates that lack the above mentioned qualifications if they show the drive and ambition to take on the responsibilities of managing a Home2. There is room to grow as we are a growing management company in the metro Detroit area.

As the General Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily hotel operations and providing overall leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

* Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including, but not limited to hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, leading service initiatives, leading and managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, leading and developing the executive team, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns and hotel-wide meeting participation and facilitation
* Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
* Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
* Recruit, interview and train team members
* Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements
* Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies
* Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities

Requirements
What are we looking for?
Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of general manager
• Experience managing $2M in revenue or greater at a focused service property
• Proven success in building strong service culture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Local market expertise
• Hilton brand experience
• Hilton Branded GM certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
