Job description

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, take hotel reservations, manage guest and hotel inquiries, and provide quality guest services as it pertains to checking in/out of hotel guests.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests to ensure guests are satisfied with accommodations and offer assistance when requested.
• Run audit reports/journals from the front office system and the computer.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Only team member on property for the majority of the work shift and must be willing to and have the ability to work alone.
• Responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Prior front desk and/or night audit experience preferred (2+ years)
• Be on-time and must be flexible to work a variety of day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Requires strong organizational skills
• Computer experience strongly desired
• Excellent people skills with excellent phone and in-person etiquette
• Solutions oriented, willing to go above and beyond
• Motivated by meeting/exceeding customer expectations
• Be able to lift or move 25 pounds
• Must be a US Citizen or possess valid work permits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
