We are inviting you to apply for our HotelAssistant General Manager position. In this role, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing and coordination of the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and profitability.

You'll be responsible assisting the General Manager in providing overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the hotel management team as it strives to provide the highest quality in standards and services. This position is essentially the "face" of the Resort, and must represent the Resort in a knowledgeable and eloquent manner. You'll also ensure that the Resort complies with local, state, and federal, rules and regulations.

We do require that you have a background, consisting of five years' extensive managerial and supervisory experience as a Food and Beverage Director, Corporate Food & Beverage Director, General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Director of Rooms of a large (over 500 rooms) hotel/resort or hospitality environment is required.

Additional required skills include:

• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff is needed.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates and corporate executives of the Resort a must.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel/resort operations such as high-volume dining, concessions, culinary, wine/spirits, hotel/resorts sales and marketing, rooms management, housekeeping, laundry, spa, maintenance, convention center services, and theme or water parks.
• The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.
• Must be able to frequently communicate and develop rapport with guests and associates and have a working relationship with the resort management team.
• Ability to work with numbers, manage various spreadsheets and budgets for different departments, and make important fiscal decisions.
• Ability to resolve disputes with guests and associates.
