Host needed at a fast paces neighborhood restaurant.
-Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Redwood Grill:
Eat Well, Serve Well, Leave Better.
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests and seat them at tables.
- Assign guests to tables suitable to their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of covers and are not overwhelmed.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Take and prepare to go orders over the phone, walk ins, door dash & Grubhub.
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff and guests to ensure that dining - details are handled properly, and customers’ concerns are addressed.
- Inspect dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
- Receive and record guests’ dining reservations.
-Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
