PART TIME HOST Position available at our BLUE ASH Location!

Catch-a-Fire Pizza is now hiring Hosts for our Blue Ash location. Our Blue Ash restaurant combines an elevated menu and a high level of service with a casual, fun vibe. The menu will offer a variety of wood-fired items including appetizers, pizzas and entrée features, focusing on Italian-American flavors, along with an array of salads and desserts.

The Host position is a full time, hourly position. We also have part time hours available. This position will likely require working evenings and weekends. Hourly pay is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming all customers as they enter the restaurant
• Escorting guests to their seats in the dining areas and suggesting seating in the bar area as needed
• Understanding our online ordering system, and being knowledgeable regarding information such as hours, directions, menus, general operations, etc.
• Assisting carryout customers by locating and coordinating their order
• Answering customer questions about the menu including beverage and food items
• Answering phones, answering customers’ questions and taking orders
• Providing outstanding customer service
• Working as a team with our FOH & BOH staff
• Completing opening and closing duties to allow for a successful service (cleaning, organizing, restocking, etc.)
• Assisting in keeping the lobby, bar and dining areas clean and organized before, during and after service
• Acknowledging and thanking all customers as they depart
• Following company policies & procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be extremely knowledgeable about all of our wine and beer options as well as recommended pairings
• Must be able to thrive and excel under pressure and consistently uphold very high standards
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times and demonstrate teamwork
