Calvert City Convalescent Center is seeking a resourceful, responsible and independent thinker who loves working with the elderly for a day shift position.

A Hospitality Aide offers nonclinical support to all residents by providing general housekeeping duties, stocking necessary supplies, transporting items for cleaning or food services. Assisting our residents with family visits and fun activities throughout the day. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN.

· Minimal of 16 years of age

· Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers

· Adhering to HIPPA regulations, OSHA regulations and state and federal guidelines

· Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions in a safe and adequate manner

· CNA licensure not required

· Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise good professional judgement

· Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

· Basic computer skills

· CPR licensed/certified and trained in first aid (can be provided by facility)

· Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language

· Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary

· Ability to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations

· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements as needed for the position

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

• Weekend availability

• Calvert City, KY 42029: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
