About Us:
Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a full-time Health Information Management Analyst. The hours are 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Daily rounds to floors for concurrent scanning and to retrieves discharged charts for scanning. preps charts with a high degree of detail and diligence.
- Ensures that each page has a label, is separated correctly and done so with speed and accuracy.
- Scans charts effectively; understands mechanics of our scanners.
- Ensures that scan process is watched entirely for missed pages, curled pages and totally integrity.
- Prep, scan and quality review charts, loose sheets or fix interface lost and found with a 98% or higher degree of speed and accuracy.
Education / Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Hospital Health Information experience preferred, medical office experience considered.

Basic computer skills mandatory;

In addition Release of Information role requires excellent customer service skills, working knowledge of health information privacy and confidentiality
