Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Quality Improvement Supervisor! This position will be responsible for coordinating quality management efforts including development, implementation, education, data collection and analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of internal HEDIS reviewers and transitions of care coordinators
  • Responsible in guiding what the three coordinators work on when and ensuing their work is timely and complete
  • Establish clear performance year goals with regard to HEDIS and transitions of care. Monitor and report out on performance related to these goals
  • Develop and implement interventions to improve HEDIS performance
  • Assist in educating staff at the clinic level to improve HEDIS performance
  • Attend meeting with internal and external audiences to track quality performance and solve issues
  • Manage our inpatient and ER discharge reporting system
  • Serve as a project manager on designated quality improvment efforts
  • Coordinate Clinical Review team EMR access to clinic systems and partner with clinic systems to develop EMR access improvement plans. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clinics, clinic system ROI departments and encourage more remote access when requesting medical records. Maintain a listing of remote EMR systems that each HEDIS team has access to and submit requests for access as needed. This position would manage EMR access for external entities for the purpose of HEDIS data collection and this person would work with internal operations teams to optimize EMR workflows to improve quality performance
  • Coordinate data collection, including locating, obtaining, and preparing for medical records review or remote EMR access. This person would be managing a team of HEDIS Coordinators who collect and submit records to improve Praxis Health quality performance
  • Identify potential difficulties and/or barriers to quality project goals and mitigate or avoid them
  • Organize, facilitate, and participate in meetings of stakeholder groups to identify needs and build consensus and collaboration
  • Provide updates on work status/progress in team meetings as needed. Provide monthly contract performance updates to regional managers
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate work both within and outside the Medicare department. Work Collaboratively with payers to improve our quality performance
  • Assist with tracking quality contract related goals and monitor progress, project milestones, engage stakeholders, ensure quality of outcomes and ensure delivery of results

Skills
  • Basic knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of project management and effective organizational change management
  • Knowledge and understanding of HEDIS, CMS Star ratings, and OHA specifications and measures
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and compliant transactions
  • Organized- prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; set goals and objections
  • Communication- communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external audiences
  • Analytical- use data to answer questions and identify themes
  • Critical thinking – analyze and evaluate information to find solutions
  • Problem solving- identifies and resolve problems in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a health related field. Minimum four years of experience in healthcare. Management experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in healthcare
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in HEDIS/OHA/Quality metrics
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with project coordination
  • Knowledge of the Transition of Care process
  • Knowledge of medical records and clinical care processes
  • Experience with Greenway Intergy EMR a plus
  • LPN or MA is a plus
