Job description
- We are a site, milling/paving, and trucking contractor looking to hire a heavy equipment/truck mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet that consists of mostly CAT equipment, Mack, and Ford trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned duties provided by managers either in the shop or out in the field
- Ability to effectively and accurately inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Safely and efficiently perform repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete daily field reports
- Knowledge in CAT SIS 2.0 is ideal
- Ability to research, quote, and order parts
Requirements
- 2 years min. experience
- CDL Preferred (salary advantage)
- Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word)
- Welding/ Fabricating experience (Preferred)
- Provide your own tools
