Job description
Texas Fueling Services is currently seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic who is wanting to be part of a teamwork filled environment.
This position requires in-depth expertise of the electrical, electronic systems, and components of gas and diesel engines.
Requirements
· Must have own tools
· Minimum of 1 years of Diesel Mechanic experience
Preferred
· CDL A (Hazmat and Tanker endorsement a plus)
- Knowledge of DOT Fleet Compliance
- ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic
· Certified Vehicle State Inspector
Responsibilities
· Proficiently and accurately diagnose and troubleshoot problems on gas and diesel engines and make all critical engine repairs and adjustments
· Fleet Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance
· Maintenance on Trailers and Automated Fueling Units
· Accurately complete all paperwork including work order, repair information, information for state inspections, paperwork needed for DOT compliance
· Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards.
· Knowledge of A/C system, brake system, emissions systems, air systems and diagnostic /troubleshooting, diesel engines and trailer assemblies.
· Perform engine and component rebuild without supervision
· Other job duties may be assigned

Pay rate: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
