HEALTHCARE AGENCY SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Healthcare Agency Sales representative, you'll sell agency's services such as the client’s home, an independent care facility, or assisted living facility.

It's likely that you'll be based in a specific geographical area, often called a 'territory', and specialize in everything that the healthcare agencies offer. As part of your role you will have to meet sales targets and will answer queries and provide advice on the services you sell.

Responsibilities:

- Familiarizing yourself with all services offered by the agency.
- Contacting potential customers (families with people in need of in-home care), identifying their needs.
- Persuading customers that your services can best satisfy those requirements.
- Closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions, and providing an after-sale service.
- Keep detailed records of all contacts.
- Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Building relationships with current and potential clients.
- Suggesting upgrades or added services that may be of interest to clients.
- Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to grow business.

Requirements:

- Extensive sales experience.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable services.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in managing sales teams.
- Ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to sell value and create credibility.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Enthusiastic to build good relationships with people.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (Spoken & Written)
  • Great networking skills.
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
  • Emboldened by challenges.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
