We are onboarding new employees using a hybrid approach. The Department supports flexible work arrangements. Depending on the business need and description of the position, we have options that range from fully remote, hybrid, to full-time in the office. Specific discussions about the schedule will be discussed during the offer stage.
**Please note - equipment provisioning and certain onboarding tasks will take place in person, in our downtown Denver office, on the first day of employment.**
The Health IT Analyst position exists to support the responsibilities of the Health IT Unit by documenting processes and policies for the necessary functions of the unit as well as functions the Health IT Unit is responsible for in its role as the fiscal agent for the Office of eHealth Innovation (OeHI).
In conjunction with the supervisor, will be responsible for documenting all vital processes for the Health IT unit and Office of eHealth Innovation operations including Advance Planning Document (APD) submission, contract updating and submission, vendor invoice approval, accounting processes which may include encumbrances, year end activities, etc., and other processes identified by the Health IT unit team and OeHI.
Responsibilities in this position include:

Recommends changes to improve documented processes where necessary.

Tracks contract deliverables and timelines for OeHI program/initiatives to assure that no deliverables are late or missed, as well as inform Health IT leadership when deliverables are at risk of being delivered on time.

Documents the numerous and varying processes required for the successful managing of Health IT projects and OeHI initiatives.

Works with members of the Health IT team and other Department and OeHI team members that support Health IT projects and initiatives to document current processes including creating RACI matrices and flow diagrams.

Analyzes current processes for gaps and makes recommendations for improvement.

Updates the Health IT unit’s SharePoint site with the process documents and makes other updates to keep all files current, as necessary.

Supports Health IT leadership and other Department stakeholders with monitoring strategic Department and OeHI program/initiative deliverables.

Works with Health IT and OeHI to determine if contractor(s) submitted deliverables in a timely manner and correctly. This includes tracking deliverables if they are received, working with Finance to ensure invoices are submitted and paid, and working with contract management if any deliverables are missed or late.

Tracks and reports regularly to Health IT and OeHI on any deliverables that are due in the upcoming quarter, month, or other specified timeframe.
Working with the supervisor, this position develops and maintains tools to track deliverables.
AND
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior state of Colorado, local government or statewide health organization experience related to the duties of this position

Quality assurance for data/data entry accuracy and analysis and experience explaining analysis to upper management

Experience working with multiple external stakeholders with competing priorities
