Head Start Classroom Substitutes: On call positions available in the Chatham, Hudson, Philmont, Valatie, and Taconic Hills classrooms. Assist the classroom team with children’s activities, planning and record keeping when regular classroom staff are not available. Must enjoy working with children! Up to 7 hours per day during the school year. Start your career with COI Head Start as a Classroom Substitute!

After an offer of employment is made, all Head Start employees are subject to inquiry with the New York State Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment and New York State Criminal History Check. Proof of COVID 19 vaccination is required, accommodations may be available.
