Assures highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service. Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls and customer inquiries.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Checks guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy, and courteous manner.
• Efficiently handles all payments received whether they are credit card, debit card, pre-paid card or cash. Balances/verifies all monetary transactions in the appropriate accounts.
• Ensures that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained.
• Responsible for maintaining ALL documentation regarding room registrations, changes, charges, monetary transactions, customer service and maintenance issues.
• Washing, drying, folding and re-stocking towels and bed linens every shift in order to ensure a timely and convenient laundry service operation for housekeeping the following day.
• Ensures that the front desk area, lobby, breakfast area and public restrooms is clean, organized, visually appealing, and well stocked with all necessary supplies.
• Maintaining upkeep of hotel lobby, public restrooms, breakfast area, sitting area, elevator, guest laundry room, hallways, etc.
• Must respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
• Assisting guests with a quick and effective response to any room complaints.
• Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues.
• Offers guests assistance whenever possible.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
• Provides directions to guests when needed.
• Answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries.
• Making and cancelling hotel room reservations.
• Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
• Follows all systems and procedures that are in place for guest safety and security.
• Keeps proper record of any incidents that occur.
• Properly compiles, completes, and distributes reports to all management and relevant staff.
• Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff.

_ **IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS**_

• Quality Inn is a DRUG-FREE workplace. All new hires must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, at no cost to them, prior to being hired.
