Albany Management is seeking Grounds Technicians for our Commercial buildings and Residential communities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience
• Knowledge of mowing, pruning, trimming, snow removal and other grounds maintenance work
• Knowledge of plants, landscape design, irrigation, erosion and building maintenance is a plus!
• How to use tools or be trainable
• Must be good natured with a good work ethic
• Must be dependable and possess solid work history
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Cut away dead, obstructive or excess branches from trees and shrubbery
• Prune or treat trees and shrubs using gas operated machinery and handsaws, sheers and clippers
• Reshape trees and shrubs to create aesthetically pleasing shapes
• Water and fertilize trees and plants
• Planting trees and shrubs
• Mowing, blowing, weed eating, leaf clean up, edging and mulching
• Snow removal/salting
