B&H Español team is seeking a
Graphic Designer - Spanish Trade to be responsible for supporting the artistic direction of our Spanish Trade books by creating visually stunning and engaging book covers and layouts (fiction and non-fiction). This position will be responsible for designing and producing artwork, layouts, and typesetting for book covers and interior pages, ensuring that they are visually appealing, reader-friendly, and meet publishing standards.

Responsibilities:
- Support art direction of Lifeway’s global Spanish Trade projects by collaborating with the editorial team, authors, and other stakeholders to understand their vision and needs, and translate them into effective and visually compelling designs.
- Research current design trends and techniques and apply them creatively to our books to keep them fresh and relevant.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Collaborates with Global team to set the stylistic and artistic direction of branding to ensure that campaigns align with brand and marketing strategy.
- Creates and develops design solutions for assigned print, multimedia, and electronic pieces that conform to the approved specifications and reflect current design trends.
- Identifies contractual designers and manages details related to contracted design solutions including timelines, scope of work and the collection/distribution of final design assets.
- Work with print vendors to ensure that final designs meet technical specifications and are print-ready.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Graphic Design, art and/or marketing
- 3 years minimum experience monitoring and managing art budget
- 3 years minimum marketing design experience.
- 3 years minimum Graphic Design experience in publishing, ministry, church staff, or agency environment
- MS Office Suite - Intermediate
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) - Intermediate / Advanced preferred
- Adobe Acrobat - Intermediate / Advanced preferred
- Photography, typography and print & media skill set - Intermediate
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Member or attending an evangelical Christian church
