GLOBAL INSURANCE RISK ANALYST

Summary/Objective

Responsible for assisting with the development, recommendation, and implementation of strategies for addressing liability, operational and property hazard risks globally. This includes performing daily operations, help to identify and analyze risk exposures.

Collaborate with teams across treasury, finance and external third parties to assist in the development of more effective risk management strategies.

The Global Insights Risk Analyst will have the opportunity assist with the day to day global insurance process. You will have the chance to work on key stakeholder projects and aggregate data to make decisions. Insurance knowledge/experience is a plus!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)

Assist with the global process of collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and updating global exposure data in support of the renewal of all insurance policies.

Manage and maintain all insurance exposure data, documents, and electronic risk management files. Assure compliance with documentation retention policies.

Assist internal departments with insurance certificate requests, proof of insurance, claims processing, and coordinate interface with insurance brokers.

Assist with annual budgeting.

Track and review insurance premium allocation, management fees, and charge backs.

Review and process insurance premium invoices.

Coordinate and Manage all Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID Cards

Support the development of and compliance with global risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Track and follow up on Property Loss Engineering recommendations. Coordinate with property insurer, broker, operations, and EHS department as needed on recommendations.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Position requires regular and predictable attendance.

Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KSA’S FOR EMPLOYMENT

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:

Basic knowledge and experience in areas of Finance/Accounting, Risk Management, or Safety and Health.

Solid experience and skilled with Microsoft Programs, particularly Excel

Solid computer skills

Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner

Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Possesses excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments

Acceptable Training and Experience includes Bachelor’s Degree within Business, Accounting, Risk Management or Finance preferred. 1-year of experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual base salary range: $73,000-$82,000
  • Bonus target range: 10%
