SLCC, LLC is a fully vertical cannabis company based in St. Louis, Missouri. We have a solventless lab in Kansas City, a cultivation facility coming to St. Louis in Spring 2023, and a brand new dispensary opening in the Hi-Pointe neighborhood of St. Louis.
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to lead our brand new Hi-Pointe dispensary with an anticipated start date in early December. This is a great opportunity for a current cannabis retail leader to join our team and help us grow in Missouri! Our General Manager will be the first hire for this Hi-Pointe location and will be able to build their own team from the ground up. They will report directly to the President and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the dispensary & the dispensary team, including but not limited to: training, scheduling, payroll, P&L and expense management, inventory management, overseeing customer relations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
We offer a competitive base salary of $60,000-$70,000 based on experience, health benefits, and paid time off. Come grow your career with us!
Requirements for General Manager- Cannabis Dispensary:
- Previous cannabis dispensary experience, including experience as a budtender; strong preference for a leadership role in cannabis retail;
- 3+ years’ experience managing/leading staff in a retail setting with strong leadership & people management skills;
- Understanding of cannabis strains, products, and medicinal uses
- Knowledge of Missouri cannabis regulations;
- Prior experience managing and controlling inventory;
- Familiarity with P&L;
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong understanding of our customers and their needs;
- Organized with strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience communicating face to face and via email;
- Ability to work autonomously, with strong problem solving, accountability, follow up and follow through skills;
- Team player, willing to step in where needed and promote a strong team culture amongst staff;
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment;
- Must be 21 years of age or older;
- Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by start date, which includes submitting fingerprints and passing criminal background check;
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR based on company requirements.
The work schedule may include weekends based on store operational hours. This position requires the ability to reach, bend, stoop, sit, and stand, and carry and lift up to 30lbs. The work environment is an environmentally controlled retail store. This position may require occasional travel to our other facilities and cannabis related events.
